1. How do
I get to Willowbrook Bible Camp
From Interstate 80, take the Altoona /
Adventure Land / Hiway 330 / Hubbell Ave. exit on the east
side of Des Moines, Iowa. Go South (actually it's
Southwest) about 1 mile (you will come to a 4 way stop
SIGN, continue straight ahead and immediately pass under a
4 lane hi-way - one more block is a stop LIGHT which is
Broadway Ave (also known as 46th Ave). Turn right onto
Broadway and travel West about 1 mile. Look for a small
street sign for NE 38th Street (near the bottom of a small
hill and before you cross a short concrete bridge). Turn
left on 38th Street and travel South about 1/3 mile. Look
for some ball diamonds on the left. Immediately on the
South side of the ball diamonds is a sign (on the left) for
Willowbrook Bible Camp. Turn left onto a long gravel
driveway and follow it up a slight hill (about 2 city
blocks) to the camp grounds.

2. What
should I bring or not bring to camp?
Bring normal personal supplies as if you were camping for a

single width), showers, & bathrooms. Sleeping bags work
great, or any single-bed bedding, as desired. You will need
towels, toiletries, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, mouth
wash, hair equipment, dietary/vitamin needs, swimming gear,
casual clothes, shoes (barefoot only around pool), rain
gear, sun protection, etc.
Do NOT bring electronic gear (i.e.- radios, recorders,
boom-boxes, TVs, etc.), flashlights, laser lights, games,
personal game/sport equipment, knives, hunting or fishing
equipment, etc.
